Protectors!
Duckey and the Ocean
Protectors is now available! I hope you will
enjoy the tales of Duckey and his friends. But I also invite
you to join me on my personal mission to inspire youngsters to
see themselves as agents of positive change for our planet. We
all have families, dreams and goals in one form or another. We
just need to take the time and think about each other... and
extend a hand. I would love to hear from you and what you're

We've just barely announced Duckey's
Eco-Essay Contest and we've received some FanDuckeyTastic
responses already! Duckey and his team of Ocean Protectors are
calling on all Junior Protectors around the world to help
conserve and save our oceans... and they want you to write

 The Reviews Are Coming In!
We're starting to receive some wonderful reviews for
Duckey and the Ocean Protectors. Aimee Hayden-Roderiques, the
Natural Science Educator and Aquarium Director at the Maine
State Aquarium:
It had a great combination of
adventure, humor, and heart and the illustrations were
captivating-helping to give colorful life to the characters
and story. Middle school children are sure to be intrigued by
this quirky tale, and as a result inspired with their own
sense of responsibility for the state of the ocean
environment. We need more tales like this out there for
children-both entertaining and helping the next generations of
ocean stewards take shape.

If our kids today are going to better
understand how we impact nature and the environment, they need
to be outside to understand what it's all about! The No Child

training and expand high-quality environmental education
