Organization’s annual Ski Challenge to be held at Pico Mountain
with a Gala Evening Reception at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel

KILLINGTON, WARREN, BOLTON, Vt. (Feb. 3, 2010) –Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports, the only organization of its kind in the state to offer daily programming year round to individuals with disabilities, is gearing up preparations for its Annual Ski Challenge Fundraiser. The fundraiser, a day filled with skiing and a night complete with dinner, awards, live music, and dancing, will be held Saturday, March 13. Next Generation of World Cup Skiers Tackle the Bumps of the Famed Outer Limits; X-Games Ski SuperPipe Gold Medalist Jen Hudak to Compete in Halfpipe

KILLINGTON, Vt. (Feb. 2, 2010)—Killington Mountain School (KMS) Freestylers, in conjunction with Killington Resort, will host The Killington Nor Ams this weekend, Feb. 5-7, on the famous Outer Limits trail at Bear Mountain. Outer Limits, the steepest mogul slope in eastern North America, was the training ground for current U.S. Olympic Freestyler and KMS alumnus Michael Morse as well as Olympic Gold Medalist Donna Weinbrecht. KILLINGTON MOUNTAIN SCHOOL ALUMNUS AND DUXBURY, MASS. NATIVE MICHAEL MORSE NAMED TO U.S. OLYMPIC FREESTYLE TEAM

KILLINGTON, Vt. (Jan. 26, 2010)—Today the U.S. Ski Team announced that Killington Mountain School (KMS) Alumnus Michael Morse (‘99) will represent the United States at the Winter Olympics next month in Vancouver. The Duxbury, Mass. native and 2008 National Champion in moguls and dual moguls solidified his spot on the team with a fifth place finish at the 2010 Lake Placid FIS World Cup event in Lake Placid last Thursday. For Morse, making the U.S. Olympic Team is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication that began on the slopes of Killington Resort with KMS coaches. (Read more…)
