Jackson has been a writer, editor and PR pro in the health, recreation, winter
sports, and outdoor industries for nearly 20 years. She has held communications
posts at Killington Resort and Ascutney Mountain Resort in Vermont, and Health
Development Corporation in Boston, developing press materials and managing the
companies’ media relations campaigns and general marketing. Her writing
has been published in The Boston Globe/NH Weekly,
Gloucester Daily Times, New England Corporate Events, Snow
East, The Mountain Times, and others. Current clients include
those in the ski, tourism, jewelry, and healthcare industries.
Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of
New Hampshire. She is an outdoor enthusiast and an avid skier/snowboarder, camper,
and enjoys jogging and hiking. She learned to snowboard in the mid-eighties
on an original Burton Cruiser 165. She enjoys exploring new outdoor interests
and is always looking for new ways to marry her professional skills with her
personal and family pursuits. She lives with her husband, daughter, dog, and
cat in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont.
